Inspiring the Next Generation of Homeowners: KFR's Visit to SNHU

Last week, Paul Hrycuna, CEO & Principal Broker of Keeler Family Realtors (KFR), and Vanessa Saunders, Associate Broker at KFR, had the privilege of speaking to juniors and seniors at Southern New Hampshire University. The event was an incredible opportunity to connect with bright, inquisitive students and share insights into the world of real estate.
Their goal was to help students better understand the homebuying process and equip them with knowledge to make informed decisions when the time comes. As Paul emphasized, "You can never start too early when planning for your future." With homeownership being a key milestone for many, they aimed to demystify the process and provide a roadmap for achieving it.
The students posed thoughtful and insightful questions that ranged from the technical aspects of real estate—such as down payments, loan options, and hidden costs—to broader topics like market trends and long-term career advice. One of the key takeaways from the discussion was the importance of preparation and education. Paul and Vanessa encouraged students to start saving early, build strong credit, and seek guidance from trusted professionals when the time is right.
In addition to discussing practical homebuying tips, they explored some of the latest innovations in the real estate industry. Paul and Vanessa are Crypto Certified Agents, likely the first and only ones in the State of NH with this designation. Vanessa highlighted the integration of blockchain technology into KFR's operations, explaining how it ensures secure and transparent transactions. "Staying ahead of the curve with technology and innovation is key to long-term success," she shared. Both Paul and Vanessa emphasized the value of lifelong learning, not just in real estate but in any career path.
Beyond the technical aspects of the industry, Paul and Vanessa shared personal stories about their journeys into real estate and the lessons they’ve learned along the way. Paul, drawing from his background in behavioral science and coaching wrestling, underscored the importance of systems, processes, and routines in building a successful career. Vanessa, a global innovator with over 20 years of experience, reflected on how adaptability has been a cornerstone of her success, particularly after pivoting her career post-9/11.
The event was a rewarding experience for both KFR leaders and the students at SNHU. It reaffirmed the importance of mentorship and the power of sharing knowledge to inspire the next generation of homeowners and professionals.
“We’re honored to have had the opportunity to contribute to their learning journey and hope to see some of these talented individuals in the real estate world someday. Whether as homeowners or future agents, they are sure to bring fresh perspectives and drive to the industry,” said Paul Hrycuna.
